Student support services unit (SSSU)
- Student support officer it’s a dedicated individual who takes care of all student’s challenges. Student Support Services unit at The saj Competency Training Institution looks after the academic, teaching, learnership/ apprenticeship applications, psycho-social support wellness and empowering of the students.
- In registration period is where all students especially the new students are informed about career guidance sessions, which are arranged whereby information on various programmes offered at the college are given so that they know what course they will be enrolling for. They are also taken through our fully equipped workshops for a “touch and feel” experience.
- Induction sessions is where the students are informed about the following:
- The college and college management
- College rules, student code of conduct and other related student policies
- Facilities and services available
- Various offices that will provide assistance.

- 2nd Trimester 2024 registrations are open closing 3rd June 2024.
- Full-time commence 20/05/2024 end 24/07/2024.
- Part-time 18/05/2024 end 20/07/2024.
- Examination: 25 July 2024- 16 August 2024.
- 3rd Trimester 2024 registrations will start on the 1st August 2024 closing 27 September 2024
- Full-time commence 10/09/2024 and 15/11/2024.
- Part-time 07/09/2024 end 16/11/2024.
- Examination: 18 November 2024- 09 December 2024.
